Weddings & Receptions
Mary’s Hope, an 1890’s Victorian home, located on a tributary of the St. Mary’s River in rural Southern Maryland, offers a variety of options for both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies. By working with the site coordinator, the perfect setting can be selected in either the spacious interior or outside on the estate grounds. Indoor weddings are comfortable for up to 75 people. Outdoors, up to 300 guests can be accommodated in several ceremony locations prepared to fit your needs. No matter where at Mary’s Hope you select to have your ceremony, your wedding day will be both elegant and memorable. Reception areas are available indoors, outdoors, or both, depending on your requirements. Several of our tent sites can accommodate up to 300 guests. Inside, the house can comfortably receive up to 125 guests for a reception. The turret area in the Lilburn Room is the perfect location for guests to view the wedding cake, and the large Mueller Room is a spacious and wonderful setting for an intimate first dance.
